I had a fair view of the river from the balcony of my room.

With free time on our hands. A group of us take a water
taxi ride across the river to do a little exploring.

We see a different view of our hotel from the river.

This yacht went out from time to time for a few hours. We
were told that it was a corporate yacht for Toyota.

Having reached shore. We found most places were closed.
Being the resourceful group that we are. We found a place
that was open. Yup....you got it. They sold
MARGARITA'S AND BEER!

We were fortunate to have this security guard take the
time to take our pictures.

Having gotten enough sun for the time being some of us
head back to the hotel via water taxi.

This sailboat is heading for the drawbridge. Which has
to be raised so he can pass. It's a free service. All they
do is radio ahead and it will be raised.

I could say that Buzz and Charlie are in deep
conversation. Anyone that knows us would know that it
would be a lie!

We all head out to our "memorable" river boat cruise.

Having recently returned from Egypt. Rose was content
to just sit and relax.

We saw a few interesting sights on the river cruise.

Sometimes in the evening if the wind was right. You
could smell the roasting of the coffee beans.

We approach (we were told) the largest ocean going
barge in the Atlantic Ocean.

After the cruise and "memorable lunch". Most were
eager to depart the boat.

Our guide directed everyone over to the memorial along
the river walk.

With free time available we find what a few of us like to
do. We head off to play minature golf. Richard Brown
(aka Charlie) heads off to try his luck with the big boys
on a full size course. (by the way, he got his butt kicked!)
